The Education Committee is planning an Advanced class for the fall, designed for members who want to achieve a class C license. Please call Jeff if you are interested in signing up.
The Social Committee has started planning our annual holiday party, scheduled this year for Saturday evening, December 11. We know it seems early but it will be here before you know it. The club provides the complete dinner, all you will need to bring is a modest present ($25-50) for the club president. Call Barbara Harrison for more information.

Fall Balloon Race is Smashing Success
Our 23rd annual Fall Balloon Race was a smashing success. The excitement began just after our group lunch break when "Purple Passion," captained by Thomas Hartgrave careened into Homer Jethries' jet-powered "Pink Lady Godiva." Nobody was hurt, thank goodness, but "Pink Lady" required a little cosmetic surgery to get up and running again. Jethries has filed a multi-mikion dollar lawsuit against Hartgrave.
